Snapchat was used by more than **** percent of teenagers in Japan in fiscal year 2022. The multimedia messaging service allows users to share pictures and messages which can only be seen for a limited period of time. While the penetration rates across age groups were relatively low compared to other social media platforms, younger age cohorts were more likely to use the service than older generations.
