In 2018, a survey asked Italian individuals aged between 18 and 30 their opinion about women giving up their careers to take care of their children. ** percent of female and ** percent of male respondents believed that this situation was not fair. However, a large part of respondents among both female and male interviewees stated that it was moderately fair for women to sacrifice their career in order to take care of the children.
