Between 2014 and 2023, the Government of the second largest city of Russia - Saint Petersburg, planned to increase the number of trucks and special vehicles with engines operating on natural gas by more than 600 times. By 2023, over 1.2 thousand vehicles of this type and approximately the same amount of buses using alternative fuels were expected to drive in the city.
