Where are Russian gas reserves located?

According to CDU TEK, Urengoy and Yamburg gas fields are the largest gas fields in Russia, with ** and *** trillion cubic meters of reserves, respectively. Both are operated by subsidiaries of Russia’s leading gas producer Gazprom. They are positioned in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, in the West Siberian petroleum basin of the Ural Federal District, which is the country's federal district with the largest natural gas production volume. In general, Gazprom owned most of its natural gas reserves in the region.
