The most common reason why Russians did not plan to celebrate Halloween in 2019 was the view that it was a holiday of countries with culture and traditions different from the ones in Russia. Approximately two-thirds of survey participants held this opinion. One-third of respondents did not find this day important to celebrate. Furthermore, seven percent refused to mark this holiday, considering it pagan.
