A survey conducted on October 19, 2019 revealed that the majority of Chileans reckoned subway fare evasions were legitimate. When asked what they thought about avoiding public transport fares, ** percent of respondents answered they were a legitimate form of protest, whereas only ** percent thought it was a violent or criminal act.
