According to data obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, 23 police forces in the United Kingdom (making up roughly half of all police forces in the country) had 962 cases of parcel theft reported to them in 2018/19. This was a noticeable increase on the previous two years and is in line with increased value of parcel shipping in the United Kingdom.
