In 2018, smartphones and computers were the most popular devices used for traveling purposes among Finnish millennials. While 59 percent of the respondents used their smartphone to research about trains, 45 percent booked train tickets on their computer. However, in terms of researching and booking flights, the computer was the most used device. When booking a restaurant, 28 percent of the respondents made a phone call, while five percent showed up in person.
