According to a survey on substance use in India between December 2017 and October 2018, about *** percent of Indians aged 10-75 years were users of any cannabis product in the measured time. This meant roughly ** million people used cannabis across the country. Five percent of Indian men had a prevalence of cannabis use during the survey period. Notably, there were more prevalence of use among children in the country compared to females.
