In 2024, the number of organ transplants performed in Mexico, including kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and small bowel, amounted to 3,080 interventions. This represents a decrease of about 10 percent compared to the previous year, when the number of transplants added up to 3,426 procedures. This was the highest number of organ transplants reached in the North American country in the given period.
