Within the U.S. the number of telehealth visits have been increasing steadily in recent years. However, usage rates vary among communities. As of 2016, more white Medicaid beneficiaries than Hispanic beneficiaries utilized telehealth services. At that time approximately 71.2 thousand white and 5.3 thousand Hispanic beneficiaries used these services.
