The survey was conducted between January 19 to 31, 2024 among a total of 15,528 Thai respondents aged 16 years and older. Other surveyed countries include China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Most of the Thai consumers are only willing to pay the same price as conventional cars for an electric car. According to the survey conducted by in January 2024, only ** percent of the Thai respondents would pay up to ** percent more for an electric car and ** percent of the respondents would pay a price that is ** to ** percent higher than conventional cars.
