Increasingly tech-savvy Malaysian consumers are always eagerly anticipating the latest release of new smartphone models or high-tech smart TVs. According to a 2024 survey, more than 90 percent of households in Malaysia had television, radio, or computer equipment. Meanwhile, around 99.3 percent of Malaysian adults owned a smartphone. The consumer electronics market in the country generated an estimated revenue of approximately four billion U.S. dollars in 2024.
