Lithuania, the southernmost of the Baltic States, is a developing tourism market in Europe — ranked as the third-best region for road trips after Germany and Spain. In 2023, Lithuania registered more than 1.1 million international visitors, which was more than a double of the tourist flow during the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, foreign tourists represented almost a third of Lithuania's total population, which adds up to around 2.9 million as of 2024.
