As consumers become more aware of sustainability issues and cosmetics formulations, natural cosmetic products became an important part of shoppers’ beauty routines. Indeed, the market for natural and organic cosmetics has been gaining traction in the last few years, generating increasing revenues worldwide. In 2023, the global turnover of such products amounted to nearly 13 billion U.S. dollars, a figure that was forecast to grow by around 7.2 percent in 2024. As far as Europe is concerned, the revenue of the natural cosmetics market amounted to 2.5 billion euros in 2023 and will increase to approximately 3.2 billion euros by 2028.
