When discussing media use in Belgium, one is actually talking about media use of two separate ares in the country: the Dutch-speaking northern region of Flanders and the French-speaking southern region of Wallonia (with the majority of Brussels). Due to these language differences, Belgium's media landscape is one of the most diverse in Europe. This report aims to provide a general overview on television, video, cinema, radio and newspapers. The report also presents statistics on the use of Internet for certain types of media, as well an overview of the biggest media companies in or covering Belgium.
