This report presents a range of statistics about poverty in East Africa. First, it gives an overview of the most recent state of poverty in Africa, and then proceeds to outlining the regional macro poverty indicators. Following this, insights are given into extreme poverty and urban inhabitants living in slums within the region. It concludes by providing figures on nutritional and essential services inequality, with a special focus on Kenya.
