The statistic shows the desire to see more female sci-fi figures and superheroes in media in the United States as of August 2018, by age group. The findings reveal that 88 percent of surveyed parents with children aged between five and nine years old wanted to see more female superheroes in media, compared to 75 percent of parents of boys in the same age group.
