The data reveals that Freeform included the highest number of lesbian or bisexual female characters in its shows as of the date of survey, with ** lesbian characters and bisexual women appearing on the network. Syfy also embraced more diverse casting approach with *** lesbian characters and **** bisexual characters, however most cable TV networks included fewer than **** such characters in its shows.
