In 2024, Mexico notified nearly 19,000 new cases of HIV. This shows an increase in comparison to the previous year, when new cases of HIV in the country totaled 18,000. During the last year analyzed, the state with the highest number of HIV cases reported in the country was the State of Mexico.Â
