Computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI)
* The German Girocard and debit card products of the international payment card systems.
According to the Federal Bank (Bundesbank), the survey consisted of two parts: a computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) and a payment diary, which was to be filled out by respondents in the seven days following the interview. A total of 2,106 persons filled out the questionnaire and 2,061 persons fully completed the diary. Only those questionnaire data sets were used for the study which also included a completed diary.
For reasons of clarity, the Bundesbank report did not use labels for the payment instruments where use amounted to less than two percent. The figures shown here which amounted to less than two percent resulted from the difference to 100 percent.
Further deviations from 100 percent result from differences due to rounding.
