This statistic presents the share of social media users in the United States who have altered their social media accounts due to applying for a job, sorted by age group. According to the September 2018 findings, 29 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years stated to have altered their social media account when applying for a job. In total, 18 percent of social media users had changed their social media accounts when job hunting.
