The average bid cost per square meter of a new dwelling in selected Southern European cities varied greatly. Barcelona was the most expensive of these cities to buy a new dwelling, with one square meter of internal space costing about *euros on average. Paris and Munich were the most expensive cities in Western and Northern Europe respectively, costing more than 10,000 euros per square meter to buy a new dwelling.
