The study series JIM is published by the Media Education Research Association Southwest (Medienpädagogische Forschungsverbund Südwest), which is supported jointly by the Media Authority of the state of Baden-Wurttemberg (Landesanstalt für Kommunikation Baden-Württemberg) and The State Media Authority of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landeszentrale für Medien und Kommunikation Rheinland-Pfalz). The study series is prepared in cooperation with the broadcaster Südwestrundfunk and in partnership with the Newspaper Marketing Association (Zeitungs Marketing Gesellschaft), the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung), the state agencies for civic education in Baden-Wurttemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate and the Reading Foundation (Stiftung Lesen).
