In the 2019/20 fiscal year, Europe became Jaguar’s biggest sales market. European consumers (outside the United Kingdom) pushed ahead of the UK and North America, with * units sold that year. This was a slight drop from record European figures in the 2018/19 fiscal year. More cars were sold in the UK than in any other country, at * units. This was unsurprising as the UK was the company’s home market. Although owned since 2008 by Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors, Jaguar still produces most of its vehicles at home in plants shared with Land Rover.
