The source adds the following information:
The TCO Equality Index illustrates how the parental benefit gap is distributed among the genders. The index shows the proportion of parental benefit days taken by women. We have combined the two different types of parental allowance, temporary maternity allowance for sick child care (VAB) and the usual type of parental allowance, which is largely taken out before the child begins to pre-school (parental leave). The closer to a value is 100, the closer it is that women take out all leave for childcare. An index of 50 shows a completely equal outlet and an index of less than 50 means men take more than women.
