The country's reclaimed rubber production, reaching about thousand metric tons in fiscal year 2023 also plays a significant role worldwide. India's position as the world's second-largest consumer of natural rubber, behind China, underscores the importance of both natural and synthetic rubber production to meet domestic demand.
