Auto-tires and tubes have consistently been the primary end-use for natural rubber in India, consuming 946,230 metric tons in the 2025 financial year. General rubber goods accounted for the remaining 463,770 metric tons. This trend is mirrored in synthetic rubber consumption, where the auto-tires and tubes sector also dominated, using about three-quarters of the 857,000 metric tons consumed in the 2025 financial year. Among the various types of natural rubber, solid block rubber had the highest consumption volume in 2024.
