The results of Economic Census 2005 were excluded from the Fourth All India Census of MSMEs for the unregistered sector. This includes wholesale/retail trade, legal, educational and social services, hotel and restaurants, transports and storage and warehousing (except cold storage).
In India, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe (SC/ST) and OBCs are officially recognized by the constitution as groups of disadvantaged indigenous people. They are the primary beneficiaries of reservation policies under the constitution. The colloquial terms for SCs and STs are Dalits and Adivasis respectively.
