According to the source, figures are based the latest census conducted (Fourth All India Census of MSME in FY 2007). The results of Economic Census 2005 were excluded from the Fourth All India Census of MSMEs for the unregistered sector. This includes wholesale/retail trade, legal, educational and social services, hotel and restaurants, transports and storage and warehousing (except cold storage).
