The market for e-bikes in France declined slightly in 2024, after a period of growth fueled by the boom in cycling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sales grew particularly strongly in 2020 and 2021. Since 2023, e-bike sales have dropped to around 570,000 in 2024.
