This statistic shows the results of a survey on organic food consumption in Finland in 2017, by gender and age. The gender and age groups that consumed organic food regularly the most were women aged 15 to 34 and ** to ** as well as men aged 35 to 49. Over ** percent of women aged 50 to 64 and ** to ** consumed organic food every now and then. The gender and age group the least likely to consume organic food were men aged 50 to 64. Overall, the consumption of organic food has become more regular in Finland over the recent years. According to the survey, the main reasons for buying organic food included cleanliness, quality and healthiness.
