According to this Belgian survey conducted in 2016, homosexuality is a topic who generates contrasted opinions in Muslim respondents. In 2016, one out of two respondents stated to have no problem with this sexual preference. Notably, ** percent of respondents agreed strongly to the statement "I have no problem with homosexuality".

Meanwhile, ** percent of respondents declared that they had a problem with homosexuality. Although it is not clear what is meant by "having a problem", it is safe to say that homosexuals, along with other minorities, face discrimination to this day.
