According to the Deloitte survey conducted in the Netherlands in 2024, almost half of consumers indicated that they shopped at their primary supermarket because of geographical proximity. According to ** percent of respondents, knowing where products were shelved and thus being facilitated in their shopping was also a reason to visit their primary supermaket. Only percent of consumers indicated they would rather shop somewhere else if products were more affordable. Â
