Use of TV as news source in Denmark 2022-2024, by age group
According to the results of a 2024 survey, 80 percent of Danes aged 65 years or older used television as a source of news, making this group the most likely to do so. However, television news consumption increased overall between 2023 and 2024 across most age groups. The most notable rise was among 18 to 24-year-olds, whose usage grew from 34 percent in 2023 to 46 percent in 2024, reversing the previous downward trend observed in 2023.
