The numbers provided here concern apartments and specifically excludes houses. This distinguishing between the two real estate types is not uncommon for Belgium, as domestic sources usually report the two separately.
In 2022, an apartment in Belgium would cost approximately ** euros on average. The Brussels was the region with the most expensive apartments, whereas Wallonia had the most affordable housing. House prices in the country have risen in recent years, but the increase has been milder than in the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
