Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the leading offshore wind turbine manufacturer in Europe. In 2020, the Spanish based company accounted for 68 percent of all cumulative installations, operating 3,674 turbines which generate 16.9 gigawatts of electricity. Siemens and Gamesa merged their wind business in April 2017 and generated over ten billion euros in revenues in their 2019 financial year.
