Two-wheelers made up a share of about 75 percent of the total vehicle fleet in operation across India in financial year 2020. That year, cars, jeeps and taxis accounted for a combined share of about 13 percent in the total registered vehicle population across the country. The country had a total of around 326 million registered vehicles at the end of fiscal year 2020.
