The household consumption spending on hospitality services in Czechia increased each year up until 2019 when it amounted to nearly 250 billion Czech koruna. Following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expenditure dropped significantly due to the related lockdowns and travel restrictions. However, in 2022, it rose back. In 2023, the figure reached over 269 billion Czech koruna, the highest value in the observed period.
