The production volume of tomatoes in greenhouses in Norway fluctuated from 2010 to 2023. According to preliminary figures for 2023, the Norwegian horticulture industry produced a volume of roughly ** thousand metric tons of tomatoes. In 2018, the revenue from the retail sale of organic tomatoes as well as cucumbers and other fruit vegetables in the country increased. In 2018, it peaked at just over *** million Norwegian kroner.  
In Denmark, the production volume of greenhouse tomatoes generally decreased. In 2022, the greenhouse tomatoes volume produced in the country was almost as high as in Norway and amounted to nearly **** thousand metric tons.Â
In Sweden, the value of produced greenhouse tomatoes peaked in 2014, reaching around *** million Swedish kronor. In general, it fluctuated from 2012 to 2020 and amounted to approximately *** million Swedish kronor by the end of this period.
