The popularity of printed newspaper subscribers in Norway has been decreasing since 2009. In 2021, just ** percent of Norwegians had a subscription to printed newspapers, compared to ** percent in 2009. In 2023, this share decreased to ** percent. However, the survey was also opened to respondents older than 79 years in 2022 for the first time.
