In 2014, the turnover of the basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing industry in Turkey increased by 349.6 million euros (+11.12 percent) since 2013. This was the first time during the observed period that the turnover in this industry has increased in Turkey. Over the observed period, the turnover has been subject to fluctuation. For the purpose of Eurstat Dataset NACE Rev.2 Section K turnover comprises the totals invoiced by the observation unit during the reference period, which corresponds to market sales of goods or services supplied to third parties.
