Note 2: Excludes residents, physicians in the military as well as semi-retired and retired physicians.
Note 3: Excludes non-registered physicians who requested that their information not be published as of December 31 of the reference year (see Methodological Notes for details).
Note 4: For those physicians for whom date of birth was not available, ages were calculated using year of MD graduation, with age at MD graduation equal to 25 years.
Note 5 : Average Age calculations exclude physicians where age is unknown and where age is less than 20 or more than 90.
Note 6 : Specialist physicians include certificants of the Royal College and/or the CMQ. All other physicians are counted under family medicine, including certificants of the CFPC, unless noted otherwise.
