This statistic displays the share of consumers planning to carry out home improvement and DIY work in 2014 and 2015. The share of respondents expecting to make changes rose from 59 percent in 2014 to 67 percent in 2015. Those making major changes, such as building work and re-carpeting, also rose from 48 to 58 percent.
