The amount of maple syrup produced in the U.S. has generally increased since 2012. In 2012, less than two million gallons of maple syrup were produced. Over the next ten years, production grew to over 5.9 million gallons in 2022, before dropping slightly down to about 5.8 million gallons in 2025.
