This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the share of respondents making judgments about a website before entering personal details online in the United Kingdom (UK) between 2013 and 2015. In 2013, it was found that six percent of all internet users reported not trusting any website to be secure. The share of respondents stating this view dropped in the following year to three percent and went up in 2015 to five percentage points. In the same year, ten percent of respondents reserved judgement, while the overwhelming majority of 78 percent would make that judgement. The share of people that would make a judgement remained relatively stable over the years.
