Now the site’s “Buy it Now” option offers a similar shopping experience to sites such as Amazon.

In 2010, the eBay’s annual net revenue was a little more than * billion U.S. dollars and by 2014, it was almost ** billion U.S. dollars, nearly doubling its revenue in four years. However, Amazon’s revenue has been steadily increasing as well, and in 2014 the company’s net revenue was far greater than eBay’s at around ** billion U.S. dollars. In 2014, the majority of eBay's revenues were generated through the marketplace segment with payments closely behind. Until July 2015, PayPal, a popular online payment platform and the most accepted digital payment method among North American retailers, was part of eBay, but they have since split and there are some concerns that it will slow or negatively affect eBay’s recent success.
