According to the source, this data represents standard cubic meters (measured at 15°C and 1,013 mbar) where possible. Since the figures were derived directly from tons of oil equivalent using an average conversion factor, it does not necessarily equate with gas volumes expressed in specific national terms.
This statistic was compiled using several releases of the publication.
In 2024, around **** billion cubic meters of natural gas were consumed in Belgium, a decrease of nearly four percent when compared to the previous year. Between 2005 and 2024, figures oscillated between **** and **** billion cubic meters. Belgium's natural gas consumption was the lowest in 2024 and peaked in 2010.
