According to the most recent results of an annual survey, confidence in newspapers was at a record low in 2022, with only 16 percent of U.S. adults saying that they had a fair amount or good deal of confidence in the medium. Media confidence is generally low, and trust in the news media to report accurately and fairly remains poor.
