Between 2025 and 2030, about 4,600 gigawatts of renewable power capacity is expected to be added globally, with solar photovoltaic (PV) accounting for approximately 77 percent of total additions. Solar PV will be the main contributor to capacity expansion, followed by wind energy, reinforcing its central role in the global energy transition.
